Nitya Natyashale - Bharathanatyam Dance Classes

At Nitya Natyashale, we are committed to educating students in the sacred form of Bharatanatyam, the oldest classical dance tradition, initiated in the Hindu temples of Tamil Nadu and eventually flourished in South India.

Emphasis is given, not only, to the physical perfection of form and technique but also to the deeper understanding of the history, culture, theory, thalam, philosophy and mythology. Annual performances give all students an opportunity to showcase their excellence.

Classes are currently conducted at Colebee (Near Marsden Park), NSW, Australia. The coursework includes both theory and practical aspects.
