North Indian Classical Music Lessons

I am offering vocal lessons in the North Indian Classical Hindustani style. I also teach Tanpura and Harmonium. Together we will cover Ragas and the musical elements that will enable you to create and perform North Indian Classical Music. 

During our lessons we will cover Shruti (foundational pitch), Swaras (notes), Saptak (scales),  Paltas (exercises), Alankars (musical decoration or ornaments), Taals (rhythm), Sargam (solfege), Composition, Improvisation, Context and History.

Lessons are held in Kirrawee. Remote lessons are available to those living outside of the southern Sydney area. I teach students from all over Sydney, the Illawarra and Central Coast. 

Training is available on an individual or group basis, and lessons are suitable for both beginner and advanced students.
