My name is Sharmeen and I am a qualified, professional and experienced makeup and henna artist.

I also offer hairstyling and saree draping /dupatta setting services.

I currently offer mobile services around Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich. Please let me know if you have any kind of special requirement.

Besides working with numerous clients, brides and bridal parties, I've also worked with a lot of professional and upcoming models and runway shows as well and am highly experienced with photographic makeup. More recently, some of my makeup work was also published in an American fashion magazine.

I absolutely love dolling up my clients especially Indian brides. I really like to understand your idea of the makeup look you're after - it could be on the more natural side or on the more dramatic side. A in-depth consultation is the first step to any successful makeup. Either ways, I can assure you that you are in for a litte pamper treat. All the products I use are high-quality luxury products as well as some of the best of the best professional grade products. Some of the brands I stock in my high-end kit include MAC, NARS, Kryolan, Face Atelier Paris, Viseart Paris, Hourglass, Becca, etc. The look created for you includes an immaculate skin preparation followed by makeup application and lashes. I am not one for using an excessive amount of product unless required, and I'm all about bringing out that natural glow and believe that less is more when it comes to makeup. With my experience and expertise, I can assure you are in good hands!! If you are a bride, I also set your 'dupatta' or veil or drape your saree and help you with your jewellery and dressing up.

Of course you don't have to be a bride to have your makeup done. I offer services for all occasions - formals, special events, photoshoots, weddings, etc. I am also experienced with mature makeup and generally makeup for all ages. 

I also offer hairstyling services, including curling, straightening, messy buns, simple up-styles and downstyles.

I am also an experienced henna artist, and have done several bridals and group hennas. My clients love my work and I'm creative and quick too! I use all natural Rajasthani henna and prepare the henna paste myself. Colour results have always been good. I always ask for an inspiration image to know what kind of design you may like, but I prefer not to 'copy' the designs and come up with my own. Of course, I am happiest when granted creative freedom, you won't regret it, as I love to add-in on-trend design elements and styles as I go. 

On the more personal side, my friends describe me as a bubbly person, optimistic and someone you can connect with at many levels. I have pretty much been doing henna since I was kid and I turned professional since living in Brisbane. I've grown up in a family of highly successful beauticians and makeup artists and completed my professional course from the Academy of Makeup here in Brisbane. I've been running my business for over 5 years. I am always updating myself with the latest in makeup and when possible, attend trainings and masterclasses with renowned international artists such as Mia Connor, Martha Mok and Nisha Desai. 

I am also often looking for makeup models to try out new looks or techniques or products or even to create social content.
