Public Speaking Practice Night (ft. free dinner!) in Australia 20th September

When it comes to building a successful career (in lots of different areas), good public speaking skills are incredibly useful. But, at the same time, they’re something that we don’t get much opportunities to work on.

That’s why, on the 20th of September, we’re going to run a public speaking practice evening, to give you the chance to stand up in front of a non-judgemental audience and talk about whatever you want. Anyone can get up and speak about anything they want for up to 10 minutes.

Depending on demand, we might allow 5 minutes for feedback per person. If you’d like to speak, give us a headsup in the poll below (or, if there’s space, you can jump up on the night and surprise us!).

Even if you’d rather not speak, but just hear about some interesting random topics, please do come along! There’s free dinner! And, with EAGx coming up later that week and several people from ANU giving talks, you’ll be able to get a sneak peek!
