Sarod recital by Soumya Chakraverty in Melbourne, 24th November 2018

Based out of Washington DC USA, Soumya Chakraverty trained in India under Pt Samrendra Nath Sikdar of the Senia-Shahjahanpur Gharana.

He has incorporated the unique blend of the Rabab and Gayaki playing styles into his repertoire. Soumya has performed extensively throughout the US, India and also in Australia.

Soumya ji will be accompanied by Melbourne based Tabla player and teacher, Pranav Ramji.
