Sydney Opera House To Be Illuminated For Diwali 2014

The Sails of Sydney Opera House Will Be Illuminated From 8:00PM Until Midnight on Tuesday, 21st October 2014 to Celebrate The Festival of Lights “Deepavali”

NSW Parliament House will continue the government’s support of the multicultural festival and light up every night from October 21 until November 5.

NSW Premier Mike Baird Said “This will be the first time the Opera House has been lit up in celebration of Deepavali, the festival of light celebrated by the global Hindu community”

It is a particular important event for the 200,000 members of NSW’s South Asian Community That Call Australia Home.
