Vaisakhi Night 2015 – Brisbane is a non-alcoholic event for the whole family. The night will feature live entertainment including performances by Brisbane’s very talented and local Punjabi singers, Punjabi dance items, play items and the traditional dhol player. The night will be a colourful display of music, dance and tradition.

Babbal Rai is an Indian Punjabi singer, song writer and film actor who was Born in Samrala, in Punjab, India. Babbal moved to Melbourne after graduating from college in India to continue his studies abroad. Babbal became a YouTube sensation after releasing‘ Australian Challa. Jassi Gill is an Indian singer and actor of Punjabi origin. Jassi had no intention of making a career as a singer, however during College, his teacher noticed his musical talent when he participated in a music subject, he then started his career performing at youth festivals. He rose to instant fame with his hit song ‘Chudiyan’ from his debut album Bachmate. In 2014, he made his debut as an actor in Punjabi Cinema with three movies, a first for any actor.
