Threading

‘Threading is an ancient method of hair removal which originated in Persia spread to the Middle and Far East, and is now gaining popularity in Western countries. It is equally popular with both men and women in Arab countries.

Practitioners use a pure, thin, twisted cotton thread which is rolled over untidy hairlines, moustaches and so on, plucking the hair at the follicle level. Unlike tweezing where a single hair is pulled out each time, threading can remove an entire row of hair, resulting in a straighter line.

As the top layers of skin are not peeled or traumatized, threading is an alternative for those with sensitive skin…………… ‘

For women who would like to pursue a more natural beauty regime, threading is a good choice, since it does not use harmful products. It will not harm the skin like wax and some depilatory creams can. If done correctly, the skin should not be red or irritated for more than a few minutes after the threading session. Threading can be employed to remove all facial hair and, some aestheticians find it easier to shape eyebrows using this technique than other methods available.

Eyebrow threading can be used to raise the arch of the eyebrow, or add shape and definition to the brow. Because it removes hair by the follicle, it is a reasonably long lasting hair removal technique as well. Repeat visits after three to four weeks are standard.

MANICURE $20.00 Your nails are cleaned, shaped, shined, cuticles trimmed and renourished. Your hands are gently massaged and moisturized, and nails painted with a colour of your choice using premium polishes.

SPA PEDICURE $35.00 A foot spa including exfoliation is followed by buffing to remove dry skin. Cuticles are trimmed and renourished and nails are cut and filed into shape. Finally they are painted with a colour of your choice using premium polishes. While this is taking place you will be treated to a 15 min massage of the entire back and thighs on our SHIATSU massage chair.

DELUXE MANICURE AND PEDICURE $50.00 While your fingers are receiving a warm hand wash and exfoliation, your feet will receive the same in a lush foot spa to remove dry skin. The nails of your hands and feet will then be cleaned, shaped, shined, cuticles trimmed and re-nourished. This will be followed with a hand and foot massage to relieve aching joints and leave your hands and feet feeling soft and supple. Finally, your nails are painted with your choice of colour. While this is taking place you will be treated to a 15 min massage of the entire back and thighs on our SHIATSU massage chair.
