YOGA Foundations Workshop in Melbourne, 5th August 2017

Learn about the foundations of our yoga practice. Get to know your up dog from your down dog and how to move with ease through your practice and flows.

Then become completely relaxed when we finish our practice with a Yoga Nidra meditation.

In this workshop you will be introduced to the foundations of our yoga practice. We will discuss the history of yoga and the philosophy that accompanies this ancient art.

Rachel will go over safety & the importance of alignment in poses.

We will practice our basic yoga poses, learn Ujjayi pranayama and then create breath connection in our basic poses and flow through Sun Salutations (the foundation of our flow practice).

At the end of the session, you will enjoy a half hour Yoga Nidra meditation with Keren to completely let go and absorb what you have learnt.

This workshop is perfect for beginners wanting to gain knowledge and confidence. It is also great for the experienced yogi looking to refine their yoga practice.
