Yoga Jam #5 in Sydney, 12th November 2017

Yoga Jam is a group for Yoga teaches to explore the art of giving physical Yoga adjustments and assists. A place for us to connect, dissuss and share skills.

Participation in the group is free. But please make a donation of at least $5 to Lentil as anything for the generous use of their hall.

Perspectives on physical adjustments and assists in yoga vary greatly from tradition to tradition. As such I think if we get a group of teachers together from all traditions there would be a wealth of knowledge to draw upon.

My vision is there will be time to discuss and practise of physical adjustments and assists.
Let get creative and have some fun!!

Why give a physical assist?
• To keep people safe
• To deepen a students understanding of a verbal cue
• To emphasise your verbal cues
• To assist a students understanding of the physical body.
• To deepen a students understanding the subtle body, Prana Vayus
• To explore the edge of a posture, respecting breath -to deepen or to modify the pose.
