Meet the Facilitator: Meg James
Meg discovered yoga at the age of sixteen, using the practice to quell her anxious tendencies. Her love affair with yoga and meditation ignited a deep passion for holistic wellbeing, and lead Meg to take the leap from the advertising world into teaching, completing her 350hr Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching with the Australian Yoga Academy.
Meg teaches Slow Hatha Flow, Yin and Restorative yoga.
Her classes are nurturing, gentle and introspective; with the aim of helping students to tune into their bodies and discover self-compassion both on and off the mat.
Her meditation classes focus on using mindfulness techniques to improve focus, clarity and intuition.
She provides students with the skills to adopt a mainstream meditation practice into everyday life, helping them to feel a greater sense of calm.
A regular yoga and meditation practice completely transformed Meg’s life, and she teaches in hope that her students will experience the same benefits.
