Bollywood Dance 6-Week Course Sydney (7th May – 11th June 2016)
Stretch, Tone, Strengthen, get fit, boost your confidence, meet new friends and have loads of fun!
Bollywood Dance is a colourful and vibrant form of modern Indian dance, inspired by the high energy music of Bollywood Movies.
Each class starts with a warm up using isolations, followed by some of the basic Indian “mudras” (traditional hand gestures) & facial expressions, popular Bollywood dance steps & techniques with a focus on posture, core and form.
We will then learn a fun choreographed dance routine, building up on it over the duration of the course.
*Suitable for beginner levels (no prior dance experience required).
- Dates: 7th May 2016 – 11th June 2016 (Each Saturday)
- Time: 3 pm – 4 pm
- Venue: North Shore Gym. Level 1 Market Square, 24-28 Burns Bay Road, Lane Cove. (Please head upstairs to the Group Fitness room).
- Cost: $120 per person

What to wear: Comfortable workout clothes, barefoot or with supportive sports/dance shoes. Ladies, if you would like to get into the Bollywood theme, feel free to wear bangles, bindis (forehead stickers) long flowing skirts and scarves (dupattas)!
