Dr Geeta Trehan

Dr Geeta is a full time GP at Paramount Health working 6 days per week. She did her MBBS from CMC in India in 1988 and has two post-graduate qualifications in the field of General Surgery. She moved to Australia in 2004 and is a specialist GP with fellowships of the Royal College of General Practitioners and also the Australian College of Rural and Remote medicine. Dr Trehan enjoys teaching and is an experienced medical educator. She is a member of the RACGP SA& NT faculty council and also has been the chairperson of the SA &NT education and training committee over the last 3 yrs. She is also a member of the RACGP national expert committee for pre fellowship training. Dr Trehan speaks Hindi and Punjabi fluently. She loves all aspects of General practice but has a special interest in dermatology and chronic disease management. Outside of work she enjoys cooking , writing poetry and reading.
