Dr Wasan Maghazaji

Dr Wasan Maghazaji is a part time GP working 2.5 days per week, consulting at Health at Newton and Health at Campbelltown.

Dr Maghazaji graduated from medical school in Baghdad in 1987, and completed a Masters of Physiology in 1992. Dr Maghazaji worked in Yemen and completed the AMC in 2005. Dr Maghazaji started working in Canberra Calvary on placement for 6 months, then completed the AMC with the English test and started working in Bankstown in 2007.

Dr Maghazaji started her GP Training in Orange and Lithgow NSW, then moved to Adelaide to work in 2012. Wasan joined Health at Newton in 2012 with a short break returning to consult in 2016. Dr Maghazaji speaks fluent Arabic.

In her free time Dr Maghazaji enjoys travelling, swimming and listening to music.
