Exploring Naada Yoga – Workshop & / or Kirtan in Blue Mountains, 21st July 2018

Join us as for a Naada Yoga workshop followed by Kirtan. You can come to one or both as you wish.

Explore Naada Yoga (Union with the divine through sound and vibration) with Geeti Dayashakti Rogers and Gyanananda (Jon Parry).

Geeti has been on the path of yoga, conscious movement, dance and spiritual growth for many years and has recently retuned from India having completed a Naada Yoga teacher training – The Heart of Sound.

She is delighted to be joined by Gyanananda, qualified yoga teacher and musician who’s life path is to share his love of music and mantra to uplift, inspire and heal.

Together they will combine their skills to offer an integrated and experiential introduction into Naada yoga that will include yogic sound practices, an understanding of the energetics of sanskrit, mantra meditation, movement, raga based kirtan and conclude with a healing sound bath.

No previous experience is required.

Then join us for an hour of Kirtan with Kate Phillips from Awakened Heart Yoga and the Blue Mountains Kirtan musicians, including Geeti and Gyanananda.

About Geeti (Soul Moves)

Mantra, music and movement for Geeti is a potent vibrational medicine that can penetrate deeply into the core of our being and connect us with our soul and the source of existence itself.

Sound can awaken, soothe, heal and open us to a deep well of internal nourishment and connect us with a flow of creativity and grace. Geeti has always had a love of dancing and movement and came to singing and playing music later in life as she was very shy! Slowly over time her love of music and mantra flowed more and more into her life and in 2018 she completed her teacher training in Naada Yoga in India – the heart of Sound.

Geeti has been playing kirtan regularly with the Sydney based group ‘Sound Samadhi’ and in other kirtan gatherings around town for many years.

She is also an accredited Soul Motion conscious dance teacher and Kiryuho Moving Meditation teacher and is excited about sharing and combining these different modalities to help bring deeper sense of connection and harmony within ourselves and within the world around us.
