Sathvam Dance School aims at providing traditional and high-quality training to the emerging artists who desire to acquire knowledge in the dance field of Bharatanatyam in Melbourne.

If you are interested in learning Indian Classical art form “Bharatanatyam” then don’t miss the opportunity to try free. We provide FREE trail class for first timers.

Our school encourages to join classes for anyone with or without dance exposure. Our dance school activities include warmups (yoga for flexibility), dance practice, slokas etc. Our students will be given an opportunity to showcases their talent at many events.

We offer classes for Kids (Above 5 years), Adults (No AGE LIMIT), Intermediate Students and Private classes is also available if required.

Smt. Spurthi

Hailing from a religious and orthodox family, Spurthi has been passionate about dance. She was initiated into the art form of Bharatanatyam at a young age, under the able Guru Chandrashekar. After being grounded in the basics, she started her tutelage under Guru Smt. Bhavya Manjunath, where she embided the art form from the best and completed her Arangetram (2016) and continuing advance level from Guru Vid. Sneha Narayan.

Her unique dance style is a sincere result of undying passion, self-motivation, and dedication towards Bharatanatyam. She has been an integral part of many programs through the institute and won accolades and praise from dance lovers.
